Pivot Table data source not valid??

I've been doing simple pivot tables for a number of years, but suddenly I am having trouble.

I select (highlight) the data that I want to use in the table, just like always, but the system insists that the data source is not valid.   The brand new pivot table will be on tab 3; I'm using data from a different worksheet in the same spreadsheet (like always).

Note that before taking the screen-snip below, I hid two columns with "private" data  But I get the same results when all of the columns are visible.  The last line of data IS row 149.

Can anyone suggest any solutions?  Thanks!

    Hi,

Sorry for the trouble caused at your end.

Per your description, we understand the problem you’re encountering i.e. when you select the data in the inserted Pivot Table it prompts Data source reference is not valid. But, when we tested at our end, we can’t reproduce the problem at our end.

In this situation, we request you to check the behavior by creating a new Pivot Table. If it doesn't work, you can copy the data of the problematic Excel workbook into a new Excel workbook to check the outcome.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a good day and stay safe 😊

    Best Regards,

    Chitrahaas
