i had a background option but now it disappear

Hi MargaritalLopez2,

Glad to support you. We have did quite a lot research about this issue and currently we recommend you could

copy:

  • desktop-config.json
  • settings.json
  • storage.json

You can proceed as follows:

  1. Close MS Teams completely
  2. Copy the above listed files from a machine of someone who has the feature working (%Appdata%\Microsoft\Teams or C:\Users<userid>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams)
  3. Paste the copied files in your %AppData%\Microsoft\Teams and replace the existing files
  4. Start MS Teams and wait until you got an error message where you can click on "Sign out"
  5. Log-in with your email address

In addition, we also recommend you could use the http://teams.microsoft.com/ for your convenience.
