Hello,
I am encountering this error on an intermittent basis when I try to view pages on my SharePoint site (new experience) in Google Chrome.
NotFoundError: Failed to execute 'removeChild' on 'Node': The node to be removed is not a child of this node.
Any ideas what could be causing this or is it just a known issue?

Hi MJoao,
Sorry to hear the situation and since the problem happens to different users in the organization, we believe this could be the server problem and request you contact the IT admin of your organization for creating a new service ticket from the Office 355 admin center for further investigation. Refer to this article: Contact support for business products - Admin Help.
Thanks,

Hi Chitrahaas,
I'm facing the same problem.
I am also encountering this error on an intermittent basis when I try to view pages on my SharePoint site (new experience) in Google Chrome.
Normally we access Sharepoint online via Chrome browser and the pages have the look customized. The problem started to appear to site collectors but now is also happening to other users.
Can you please help.
Thanks,
MJoao

Hi Mark,
Sorry for the trouble caused at your end.
As per your description, we understand you’re prompting with the error message when you try to open the pages in the SharePoint Online site and the behavior is encountered in the Google Chrome browser. To narrow down the problem, can you provide the following information:
a. Try to access the site pages in the different browser like Microsoft Edge to check the behavior.
b. Can we know whether these problematic site pages are customized pages?
c. Does this problem happen to other users in the organization?
Appreciate your understanding and stay safe 😊
Best Regards,
Chitrahaas
