Problem with paste options in PowerPoint

Hello,

I'm using the latest version (I guess) of PowerPoint for Office 365 (2007, build 13029.20344) and every time I try to paste anything, the paste options no longer appear (see screenshot below/attached).

This problem occurs only with PowerPoint (Word and Excel are working fine). I also verified the option (Office Button > PowerPoint Options > Advanced, In the Cut Copy paste section "Show Paste Options Button"), but everything is already checked

Any ideas?

    Hi aacury,

Based on your description, paste options are invisible in PowerPoint. But it works fine in Excel and Word.

We suggest you try to Online Repair the Office first, it may fix this issue. If issue persists, regarding the Update history for Microsoft 365, the latest version of Monthly Enterprise Channel is version 2007 build 13029.20534. We sincerely suggest you click File-> Account-> Update Options-> Update Now to use the latest version and check the outcome.

If issue still persists, can you provide the screenshot of PowerPoint-> File-> Account-> Product Information page? It will help us move further

    Appreciate your cooperation.

    Best Regards,

    Ivy

    Hi aacury,

Apologies for the delay in the response and we are willing to assist you further on the problem, so can we know the current status of your problem? If the problem persists, have you tried updating the Office applications from 2007 to 2009 (13231.20368)?

If no, I request you try updating the Office application to latest version and check the behavior. If the problem persists, can I know the Product Information of PowerPoint application? Open the PowerPoint application> Account> Check under Product Information.

In addition, can we know the content you're trying to copy and paste?

    Best Regards,

    Chitrahaas

before doing that i would go to file > Options > Advanced and check that "Show Paste options button when content is pasted" isn't unchecked.

    It is checked.

    Dear Ivy,

    thanks for the prompt response.

Unfortunately, none of the proposed suggestions worked. I guess I should uninstall it and install it again, right?

    Best,
