Problems with Excel formulas after update

I am an IT Trainer for a community college and taught a level 2 Excel class for almost 4 years.  I have tried reporting it on a different site per my manager, but nothing came of it and just found this site so I'm reporting it here.

After an update, I am now getting errors when using the and and or commands when using named ranges in my formulas.  I have included pictures to explain the problem, both the incorrect result where I used ranges as well as the correct result where I used the individual cells. I am also including an example where the named ranges worked correctly in a formula.

This is the first build that I noticed it in as well as my current build where I'm still dealing with the error.

Current build:

This shows the ranges working correctly.

This is the AND command, with the ranges 1st and the individual cells 2nd.

Here is the OR command with the error using the named range 1st and no errors 2nd.

    Hi There ...

I would suggest to check if the range names are still valid in you file after the update.

I am using a test workbook for my class that I create new named ranges every time. I have copied and pasted the test data into a new spreadsheet and I'm still getting the error and other people I've worked with also get the same error. I have also done a test with new data and still getting the same error.

Here is one showing the data, highlighting that it is doing calculations correctly, giving a false when it's supposed too.

    Error

    no error

    1. Try defining QTY and Cost again

    2.  Then rebuild formula in 1 cell and then fill down till you need.

I think that should sort the issue.

The issue is when using the named ranges in a formula for AND and OR.  It worked until the update and then it stopped working.  It's a bug that needs to be reported. I appreciate you trying to help, but this really is a bug.

Actually Named Ranges not recognized looks to be too important not to be included in update/missed out  :):):)

I don't have access to version so can not recreate your case at my end.

Probably need help from someone having same build.
