Power Query editor has stopped displaying properly, including any pop up boxes when I try to close the editor.  It worked great for months, then this problem started about a week ago.  Please see screen shot below.

    Hi Rob,

Please try disable the hardware graphic acceleration in the Excel > File > Options > Advanced > Display > Tick on the following option.

    See if the issue persist.

Meanwhile, please help confirm the following information with us:

1.Please provide a screenshot on your Excel Product information(Including the version number), you will find it at File > Account.

2.If you maximize the Power Query window, will it display properly?

    Hello Alex,

Ticking the acceleration on did not work, nor did maximizing the window.

    Hi Rob,

I just finish the test under the same version of Excel as yours. However, I was not able to reproduce this issue.

I think this issue might be related with the addins you have installed for Excel. Please try starting Excel in Safe Mode, see if that make any changes to the Power Query interface.

Open Office apps in safe mode on a Windows PC

Meanwhile, it's also suggested to use Online repair to fix your Office components.

    Repair an Office application
