    Hi Sourav,

Sorry for the inconvenience the problem caused for you.

You can try to repair a corrupted workbook, for the detailed steps, you can refer to this article:

    1. Click File > Open.
    2. Click the location and folder that contains the corrupted workbook.
    3. In the Open dialog box, select the corrupted workbook.
    4. Click the arrow next to the Open button, and then click Open and Repair.
    5. To recover as much of the workbook data as possible, pick Repair.

To help you better, could you please provide some information for me?

    1. The screenshot of the Excel version.
    2. Did this error happen on other Excel files or other computer?
    3. Could you please give me the whole error message on the Unexpected error window?
    4. Did this problem happen on files with embedded objects or macros?

    Appreciate your cooperation in advance.

    Best regards,

    Jazlyn

    Hi Jazlyn,

The error occurs whenever I try to run a web query in Excel. Please see the attached screenshots.

The error occurs only in my computer. In other PC's , the issue does not occur.

The problem does not occur with VBA and macros.

    Hi Sourav,

Thank you for the detailed reply.

According to your reply, since the file can be opened successfully on other PC, this problem may not be related to the file itself.

And the problem happens when you are trying to run a web query, could you please try to create a new file and then run the Web Query to check whether the problem happens again?

As the same time, you can also try to fix Office client, by performing an online repair.

    Best regards,

    Jazlyn
