    Hi Louis,

Per your description, my understand is you want to have the Data Labels for the Pivot Chart as percentage and currency which means you need to format the data labels in the Pivot Chart. If yes, please follow the below steps:

Open the Excel file with Pivot Chart and enabled with Data Labels> Click on the Labels displayed in the Chart> Right-click> Click Format Data Labels> Label Options> Number> In the Category, select the format as per your requirement.

Here is the reference article: Change the format of data labels in a chart.

If my understanding is wrong, we’re sorry and please provide the screenshots for better understanding your situation.

Appreciate your understanding and stay safe 😊

    Best Regards,

Hi. Please see the screenshot below. The data labels on the pie chart include first a value and then a percentage. I want to format the percentages to have 2 decimal places to the right, ex %00.00.

If I select the category to be percent from the dialogue box on the right, then the value in the labels also become percent. In other words, I cannot seem to control the formatting of the value and the percentage value in the data labels on the pie chart at the same time.

Please advise on how to give the percentages a different formatting without it effecting the value piece- as $000.00 -  of the data label. Thank you.

    Hi Louis

Thanks for sharing the detailed information which helped us the understanding your requirement i.e. you need have two decimals points of the percentages in the Data Labels of Pie Chart. I have created a Pivot Chart with sample data and enabling percentage gives the following:

Now changing the Category to Percentage and making Decimal places as 2 gives the following:

At my end, changing the Category to Percentage doesn’t change the Value (Currency). So, can you please provide the problematic file to us for test at our end? Note: Please make a copy of the problematic file (using Save As) and remove the personal information while sharing with us. You can upload it to OneDrive and share the link with us.

    Thanks for patience!!
