The Paste Link option is no longer available. How can I have it back?

I have not yet found the issue.

I was able to paste and link (using the right click) a total from a cell coming from a separate document at the bottom of my whole table, but I still can do so in the table per se. I am working with this table and the related documents since the beginning of 2020 and it always worked.

Anyone has an answer to my issue? I would really appreciate a positive solution to my problem before year-end.

No, this is not it. I have this document where I collect information/date which adds up and I want to copy the sum and paste-link it in another document. I can't understand what happened. I was able to do it a few days ago, but not anymore. The Paste Link option in Paste Special disappeared.

Do you mean select a cell>Rt click for paste options?

If so is this on a new doc or an old doc?
