Export document from PowerPoint Addin to remote location as SVG

I would like to export a PowerPoint (pptx) file from an addin in PowerPoint to a remote location as SVG file. The result should mimic the results of a save as operation in PowerPoint as SVG type. Is there any way to do this? Currently I only see the options Compressed, Pdf, and Text.
