Saving Word for Mac file as a PNG

I need to save a Word for Mac file as a PNG, but I have no options to "Save as Picture" or as an image or anything like this. There is no save as JPEG or PNG option when I use "Save As" either. Where has this gone? I am on MS365 Word version 16.48.

It hasn't gone anywhere... It never was :-) Word processors typically do not support outputting documents as image files. Word does provide for saving an inserted graphic object as a picture [right-click the object> select Save as Picture] but not for saving the document, itself, in an image file format.

The simplest option is to save the file as a PDF. You then can open the PDF in Apple's Preview.app or some other PDF reader & export as any of several image file types.

There also may be some 3rd party file converters or online services available for Mac but I've never had any reason to use them.
