Good day,
Will the Lifecycle for "Microsoft Sync Framework" be extended beyond 1/12/2021, or is there a replacement product recommended for current development?

Intended use: To sync a local SQL server database to a remote SQL server database (not Azure).

    Hi MichaelChamberlain-1106,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

Microsoft Sync Framework 2.1 does not seem to have an extended support date at this time.
Here is product DotMim.Sync which might help.
In addition, to synchronize database, we can use Always On availability group. The Always On availability groups feature is a high-availability and disaster-recovery solution and supports a replicated environment for a discrete set of user databases. Please refer to What is an Always On availability group which might help.

    Best Regards,
    Amelia
