Cannot remove file that was shared with me

There are Excel sheets and Word Documents that were shared with me 4 years ago which I no longer want in any way, but I cant remove them from the apps or using OneDrive on the web

As far as I can tell, this requires a forced crawl by Microsoft to purge the files. Can you please assist.

    I have the same exact issue with a word file and it is not, never was listed in OneDrive in the shared folder. I have read in other posts that deleting the email would solve the issue which I have done, but the shared with me file remains. I also do not see an email OneDrive support option.
