this access control list is not in canonical form and cannot be modified when checking in
I keep getting this when I do source control operations, such as merge, and resolve conflicts. Nothing I have found on these forums seems to be helpful.
Visual Studio
C#

2021-08-12T19:37:05.153+00:00 I have a UWP app that talks to a console app that talks to another console app. I can't share any code, because it's proprietary, but this problem is not with code. It is with access control lists. For some reason, Visual Studio, or something else, is modifying the access control lists when I merge code from one branch to another, or when I try to resolve conflicts. No one else on my team has this issue. We're all on the same version of Visual Studio and are working from the same repositories.

2022-09-12T13:52:01.227+00:00 I am having the same issue on VisualStudio 2019, whenever I merge or try to resolve conflicts. Did you get any workaround for this problem?
