We found the culprit. I contacted the application vendor and working with them to resolve the issue.

Help! The folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\SystemKeys is growing out of control. It is doing this on some of our servers and some desktops. We are a medium to small business and use Active Directory (not Azure AD). I've heard that this folder is used by IIS, SQL Server, Remote Desktop Licence Server (maybe other things too?). My guess is it has something to do with Remote Desktop as I've not seen this problem with any computer that hasn't been using Remote Desktop. I've heard that some of the keys in this folder are important so you can't just delete it. Anyone have any idea what to do to get it to stop, what causes it, or how to clean it up?

2023-01-18T19:31:44.15+00:00 This is how I did it, I had a computer that had nothing on it. I added different programs that were part of our basic image. After each program install, I'd check the folder to see if it was growing. After I added MEDC it was obvious that was the problem. Hope that helps.

2021-09-04T16:56:57.617+00:00 MEDC - Manage Engine Desktop Central. For that application you can delete everything in the folder. For me that folder was so big, when I tried to open it, it would hang forever. I had to write a small program that went to that directory and deleted every file. I used it on desktops or servers, both worked fine.
