Error code 0xc0000142

Hi,

Yesterday MS Office was working fine on my PC. I restarted it today, and now am unable to open any MS Office apps. A window appears saying that Office is updating, and eventually this disappears to give way to the error message above; 0xc0000142.

As far as I know, no settings were changed, and my MS subscription is up to date! Any ideas welcome.

Thanks
