I have this problem where other users using Windows Microsoft 365 version could access the PowerPoint with the audio inserted but when I downloaded the file and when I would like to play the audio, it stated that the codec is unavailable. Please help. Thanks.

    Hi LynetteHoo,

I go through the post carefully, May I know what is the audio extension of the inserted audio in PowerPoint? Audio and videos supported on Mac OS are different from Windows 10, for example, Windows Media files (.wmv, .wma) aren't supported on PowerPoint 2016 for Mac or PowerPoint for Microsoft 365 for Mac. Please check the link for more details: Video and audio file formats supported in PowerPoint

Additionally, could you please share more information as below with us?

    1. What is the audio extension of the inserted video?
    2. Can you play the audio from Office on other Macs?

    Regards,

    Clark
