Excel Data Table not working

Hey guys,

So I'm trying to build a data table and have no idea why this isnt working. I've linked the Row Header to cell C3 and the Column Header to cell C8, with the output in E4 tied to cell C13. The data table should be trying to show what the debt service coverage ratio is based on those revised Gross Lease and Expense rates, but it just keeps putting up gibberish numbers that don't seem to relate. I even removed it from its original sheet thinking maybe it was because of other elements in the main sheet, but it's not working in a separate clean sheet either.

The equation in cell C7 to get the projected monthly income is =(C2*C3)*(1-SUM(C4:C5))+(C2*C6)

The equation in cell C9 to get the projected expenses is =C2*C8

The equation in cell C10 to get the total projected NOI is =C7-C9

The equation in cell C12 to get the after debt cash flows is =C10-C11

The equation in cell C13 to get the DSCR is =C10/C11

So, like I said, I have no idea why this isnt working to show me what the DSCR is based on the increase/decrease in the Income and Expenses.... any help is greatly appreciated..

    Hi,

Here are the 2 things i did to get the correct results:

    1. Pasted special as values all figures in range E5:E9 and F4:J4
    2. In the Data Table, the correct inputs should be C8 and C3 (in that order)

Thank you! I clearly got my wires crossed switching things around trying to make it work. Once I did that and switched all of the column/row inputs to as values it all calculated and I could relink them to make it work. Thanks again!
