Excel Pivot Table not sorting by number value correctly.

Hi.

I cannot get this to sort in numerical order.  I tried A to Z & Z to A.  Both scenarios put the #1 in the incorrect order.  Can you please help me learn how to correct this?

    Re:  incorrect sort in Pivot Table

    Excel, when sorting, treats text and numbers separately.
    All text is sorted (grouped) together and numbers are done the same.

    From your image, it appears that "1" is treated as text.
    You can change "text" numbers back to numbers with
    the usual solution of making sure the number format is correct (number) and

    then multiplying the text number by 1 using Paste Special...
