Sharepoint online "The Specific List is invalid" on document library

Hi!

We have a problem with an error that appears
Some users see "The Specific List is invalid" when they go into page's document library in sharepoint.
The same error occurs when the web part of the document library is added to the page.

This is strange because the problem is only one site in Sharpoint. but this is the page with the most files. (above 5000)
According to my findings, this is not a permissions issue.

The next point is that if the user accesses some new browser then everything works fine, but for some the problem shows up in Chrome, others in Firefox.

For example one user sees this error in Firefox because he used it on a daily basis but when he comes in with chrome everything is fine.

Another person uses Edge on a daily basis and has this problem there, and when he use Firefox, the library opens properly.

from my account I have never seen this error, but another administrator with the same permission set sees this error from one browser

We know how to get to these files because we have mapped them via OneDrive directly in Windows.

**My question is whether this is Microsoft's problem. Or should I look for the cause of this problem internally?I see a lot of the same cases globally. So I don't know if I should spend my time searching for a solution or it's a Microsoft problem.**thank you in advance for your help ;)

We managed to solve the problem, I am sending a solution because it is possible that others also have this problem and the reason is a well-known browser plug called: uBlock Origin

When  uBlock is enabled (on default settings)

immediately after disabling the plugin  the library loads properly:

    Hi Łukasz Świerzewski,

Thank you for sharing the experience with us.

From description, the issue only happens when users try to access a document library in a specific SharePoint site, it works for one user when he uses Firefox, and works for another user if he uses Chrome.

As it works in a different browser if user changes to another browser, the issue may be related to browser cache. For test, you may let users try the private window of their browser when issue happens.

If they can access the document library in private window without error message, let them try to clear the browser cache and see the outcome.

If issue persists, for further troubleshooting, could you please share a screenshot of the error message? Appreciate your time and effort.

    Have a nice day!

    Best Regards,

    Tina

    Hi Łukasz Świerzewski,

Very glad to know the library can display fine after disabling the browser plug uBlock Origin. Thank you for sharing the solution, I will mark your reply as answer, this will definitely benefit other community members who have the same issue!

    Best Regards,

    Tina
