I have Office 365 for MAC.

I am trying to insert CHAPTER HEADINGS (e.g. Heading 1) into the Header of my Word document.
I can get to Header & Footer/Field/Links and References/StyleRef but no further (ref. screen capture).

The instructions I find online are all for Windows and the menus do not correlate.

Help appreciated, David

In your screen shot, the dialog displays an Options button. Click on that, select the Styles tab and choose Heading 1 from the list of styles. Then OK out.

Thanks so much!  One more question... How can I get the Header to mirror on the left and right pages?

    Here are the steps:

    1. Choose Format>Document from the macOS menu bar.
    2. Click on the Layout tab.
    3. Check the option for Different odd and even in the Headers and Footers group.
    4. In the header, set the text alignment for adjacent pages to either right or left.
