If I use Data - Data Analysis - in any test (Single factor One way Anova), the input data is not accepted by it.

It says " input range must be a contiguous reference?

What does that mean?

I have tried all references using Function F4 key. It is not accepting.

    Hi RamakrishnanVaidyanathan!

I'm Jen, an independent advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

Try selecting the numerical data only, not including the first-row-labels. Change your input range to $A$2:$C$13.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'd be glad to assist you further.

    Best Regards!

    Jen :)

Dear Jen, Thank you for your care and suggestion. Unfortunately it did not work out. But your suggestion made me try out again (though I lost hope already) and was lucky to get a solution. This has been posted by many, but could not understand earlier.

I have recorded the solution and posted here.

File - option - Formulas - Working with Formulas - Check the first check box R1C1 reference style.

However this changes the columns also to numerical type like rows. A1 is now R1C1.

Hope this helps many others as well.

Thanks again sir. Link given below for reference.
