unable to edit/modify the existing diagram in png format using MS Visio

Hi,

We are unable to edit/modify the existing diagram in png format after importing it in MS Visio software. We need to share the same with our partner in editable MS Visio format. Please suggest if MS Visio supports png and jpeg format.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Kaushal

PNG files are images. Visio can import them as Visio "Shapes", but you can not edit the content of the shape.

If the file is SVG, you can ungroup and play with the component shapes.

How did you get the PNG file?  Visio can save as PNG, but in doing so, you lose a lot of content. It may look right, but it is uneditable.

    Dear Kaushal,

    Welcome to the forum here.

Do you import the png graphics to Visio via the steps in the article?

Could you first upload a full screenshot of the Account page in the Visio application you are using for our reference? You can access the page via clicking on File>Account.

Note: Remove any private information before uploading the screenshots.

Meanwhile, about "We are unable to edit/modify the existing diagram in png format after importing it in MS Visio software. ", do you encounter some error messages?

    Best Regards,

    Cliff
