I have Microsoft Access 16.    I do not wish to upgrade from that version at the moment.

Can I download the other programs Word, Excel etc but also keep version 16 running as I need to share the database?

What exactly do you mean with Microsoft Access 16?

What does it say on the File > Account page?

Do you Office 2016 (there is no 16) or Office 365? Either way you can't upgrade some components and not others.

Yes & No - There are no upgrade versions of Office, you buy the version you require, that has all the components required.

A retail version of Office is an all or nothing install, it installs in parallel with your previous Office version

I use Office 365 Bus, that includes Access and still use my db that was developed originally in Office 2007. I have over the years purchased newer Office versions, that occasionally required me to modify some vba
