Tired of trying to troubleshoot the problem with OneDrive. Never signs in like it used to. I do not have business version and can't get it to sign in and sync. Please provide step by step instructions. No links are helpful. Thank you!

    Dear KHall.Beach,

As an Independent Advisor and community user, I'll help you with your question.

First, you could try with an Onedrive Reset, so take a look at following process:

1- Open a Run dialog by pressing (Windows Logo Key + R.)

2- Copy this and paste it into the dialog window then press OK

    %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset

If you see a "Windows cannot find..." message, copy and paste this instead, then press OK.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset

3- Manually restart OneDrive by going to Start Press the Windows key , type OneDrive in the search box, and then click on the OneDrive desktop app.

    More information in below link:

    If previous process does not works, you could re-install Onedrive client with following process;

Do you know how work with the "Regedit"?

So, with the keys combinations (Windows + R), you'll open the "Run" windows, then type: regedit

We need to find Onedrive folder and delete it.

you will find it in this path:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Onedrive

Expand Microsoft folder click on the "arrow", inside you'll see the Onedrive folder, click with "Right-Click" over Onedrive folder and delete all.

This process only remove Onedrive configuration, the data will be fine.

Take a look more information in following support:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/how-...

After, uninstall Onedrive from Control Panel and re-install again with the file that you have to download it in this official Microsoft Support:

    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/onedri...

Download the last "Production Ring" version: 21.016.0124.0003 and install it.

Finally, It is possible that you need to input your credentials again, then when you select the folder location for Onedrive (use default folder), maybe will appears a message that says "This folder already has information/data", so, in the same way, select that location and accept.

    Regards,

    Renzo.
