Hi everyone,

I went through https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/free-account-faq/ and I can see that Batch service has been provided for free (always free) as per:

I tried following all links, but couldn't really see how limited such offer may be.
Can you please provide me with some feedback?
Curious to know how many jobs may we have concurrently with a free account and which VMs can we use for such jobs.

Thank you in advance,
Pedro

*anonymous user*Diogo-0442 Thank you for your query.

Azure Batch Service does not have it's own pricing but it is priced as the resources which are used in the batch service like compute (virtual machines). Detailed pricing of batch is provided here.

To quote the pricing from above page
"There’s no charge for Batch itself, only the underlying compute and other resources consumed to run your batch jobs, including applicable software license costs. For compute, Cloud Services, Linux Virtual Machines, or Windows Virtual Machines can be utilized by Batch. The standard rates for compute apply and can be viewed in the mentioned article; software licensing costs for batch graphics and rendering are available in same."

    Hope this clarifies the doubt.
