When I try to use the button of the analysis toolpak in excel, it won't work. I've already removed the function and added it back, but unfortunately...

Does anyone know what I could do about this? Thanks in advance for everyone's help!

Hi Sonny,

Thank you for the reply.

From your screenshot, you are using Current channel Office, and your version is not the latest version for Current channel. Given this situation, we suggest that you could update your Office to the latest version to see the result.

If you delete the related ANALYS32.XLL file first, and re-upload to the folder, will the same problem happen? We will provide the ANALYS32.XLL file via private message, you can download it, then you can also go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\Library\Analysis or C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\Library\Analysis to upload your ANALYS32.XLL.

Best regards,

Jazlyn

    Dear Jazlyn,

I had already tried the first and second options, but this did not help. Nothing happens when I press the button, nothing appears. It has been working over the last six months. Below you will find a screenshot of my current Office version, I use Windows 10 by the way.

Hopefully you can help me, thank you for your comment!

    Kind regards

    Hi Sonny,

Thank you for posting your query in our community.

Based on your description, Analysis toolpak doesn't work on your side. I tested it on my side, however, there was no problem.

Here are some suggestions, and I hope they could help you:

Go to File > Options > Add-ins > uncheck the box for Analysis toolpak > quit Excel. Then re-launch Excel and re-check the add-in to see the result

If you are using Windows 10, then you can try to fix Office client, by performing a repair. Try a quick repair first, and if that doesn't work, try the online repair.

If you are using Mac OS, you can remove folder like ~/Library/Containers/microsoft excel( you can press command +shift +G and enter the route to go the folder) to remove corrupt caches of the app.

If the problem persists, could you please provide some information for me?

    1. Are you using Windows 10 or Mac OS?
    2. please provide us with a screenshot on your current Office version.
    3. You mentioned "doesn't work", when you click the button, will the box of Analysis toolpak appear?

    Best regards,

    Jazlyn
