Hi,

I searched for the solution and tried them but the sum/average/count are still not showing in status bar.

I added the Analysis ToolPak and Analysis ToolPak -VBA to the Add-Ins as below:

I went to the View Menu but I couldn't find the status bar option:

I right clicked on the Status bar but it didn't display the customize shortcut menu

I couldn't find the Tools Menu so I couldn't access to the Option

Here is the Window and Excel version:

Please let me know what is the other steps I could try?

Thank you

lee

If yes, I found a thread which has the similar issue with you, you can try the methods in this thread which helped many users to see the result: Status bar missing in Excel 2016

    Dear Jazlyn,

Thank you for the suggestion. Yes, I was running a macro but I am not sure how it turned off the status bar.

I ran the macro provided by you and now I am able to see the status bar as per the screen shot below.

One quick question; may I know if I have to run this macro all the time when I open the excel?

    Thank you

    lee

    Hi Lee,

    Thank you for the reply.

For your question, I tested it on my side, and I found that only the files created when the macro file is opened, the status bar will appear.

However, generally, the status bar is on by default. You can try to Completely uninstall Office with the uninstall support tool and Download and re-install Office to check the result.

    Best regards,

    Jazlyn
