Changes not saving when collaborating on Excel file shared in Teams

I've been experiencing many issues today trying to collaborate with a colleague on an Excel file stored in our Team drive. I keep getting error messages about not being able to save my changes or apply my colleague's changes. This was working just fine until my PC pushed out a Windows update yesterday; could this be related? Any suggestions to resolve the issue? See screenshot below for error message:

    Hi VIKRAM SINGLA,

We are sorry for inconvenience it caused.

Depends on your description, we understand that you cannot save your changes or apply your colleague's changes when collaborating on files in Microsoft Teams.

We have tested the issue you described on our side, but the problem does not occur, it will save the change successfully.

We understand your frustration, to resolve this issue, we need some information. Let us know the following:

    1. Whether the issue happens in Teams app or Teams Web?
    2. Whether it happens in the Excel client on desktop as well?

If the issue occurs in Teams Web. You can try the following steps:

         1. Visit the Microsoft Teams website.

2.Hold down the Shift key and tap F5.

3.The website will reload but it will ignore all files in the cache.

         4. You have to delete the cache for your browser.

If the issue occurs in Teams app. You can try the following steps:

1.Fully exit the Microsoft Teams desktop client. To do this, either right click Teams from the Icon Tray and select ‘Quit’ or run Task Manager and fully kill the process.

         2. Open File Explorer, and type %appdata%\Microsoft\teams in the location bar.

3.Inside the team’s folder, look for a folder called ‘Cache’. Delete all files inside this folder.

4.Repeat steps 7 and 8 for the following folders. You will find all these folders in the same location as the Cache folder.

    •             blob_storage

    •             databases

    •             GPUCache

    •             IndexedDB

    •             Local Storage

    •             tmp

5.Open Microsoft Teams and sign in your account.

If it happens in the Excel client on desktop as well.

Please come back with the screenshot of the version of your office and your OS for the further help.
