Excel - quotation marks in formulas cause error

Hi, I have the office package and am currently experiencing an error when I write formulas in excel.

Correctly formatted formulas will cause an error, where the cause of the error is shown to be the quotation marks in the formula. The odd thing is it worked on a different computer and if I try to recalculate those previously working formulas they display the same error. I really need your help since this is making it impossible to finish work.

I have tried working with a new file, but got the same errors.

Thank you for your time.

    Hi

It is difficult to help you if we don't show us the formulas you currently using.

A screenshot of your scenario will help us as well.

    Regards
