Aligning text boxes

Good morning.

I am trying to align text boxes in PowerPoint 365.  I need to align them top to bottom, but there is no way to do it that I have seen except moving the text box a little at a time (even then it is hard to get it right without overlap or gaps).  Is there an automated way to do this?

    Hi freebird_wr,

I'm Katha, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Office user like you. It's my pleasure to help you out with your concern.

Yes, there is a way to align text boxes without manually moving them.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Select the objects you want to align. To select multiple objects at once, hold the Shift key while you click.
    2. From the Format tab, click the Align button, then select one of the six alignment options. You may choose Align left, right, center, middle top, or bottom. You can also choose to align your text box/objects to slide if you wish.

I will be sending screenshots in my next reply so you can see.

    Regards,

    Katha

I've used those alignment tools many times.  Those still don't work when aligning top to bottom.
