Artistic Effects

I inherited a PowerPoint presentation and I need to emulate the artistic effects on newly imported pictures but I cannot find the same effect now.  Is there a way to copy the artistic effect on one picture and place that format on a new picture.   I've tried CNTL Shift C&V but that did not work.   thanks for the help

    If the picture with artistic effects is selected and you open the Artistic Effects dropdown, the applied effect is highlighted. In the screen shot below, the upper left option (no effect) is selected: 

    Make a note of that and apply the same effect to other photos. If nothing is highlighted, then the photo may have been modified in a different program, like PhotoShop.
