Excel Online - Scroll Bar Too Small

The scroll bar to move both across columns and rows in my excel online spreadsheets are too small.

There is quite a lot of data in this spreadsheet, a few hundred rows I'd say. And navigating my way around the spreadsheet is difficult when the smallest of movements on the scrollbar jumps thousands of rows, the same goes for columns.

I've have read solutions for the desktop app which is to delete all empty rows and columns and press save. This is not possible for Excel Online which is what I am using. Downloading the spreadsheet to my desktop is not possible as the spreadsheet is linked to external applications.

How can I reset the scrollbar so it only covers the rows and columns that are being used?

    Hi IfanJamesBU!

I'm Jen, an independent advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

The sizes of the horizontal and vertical scroll bars are normally determined by the dimensions of the used range. Here's an article that provides a few work-arounds on how to fix this.
