refresh of model doesn't finish with out any errors

So let me try to describe the scenario.

We have a model, that is around 10 Gb.
Source is an oracle database.
A normal refresh takes somewhere between 40 and 50 minutes. We do a full refresh of the complete model.
The model is deployed on four environments with Azure pipelines. With the help of the Tabular Editor.

So far so good.

Recently we have troubles getting te model refreshed, sometimes...

At first I thought it had something to do with the TotalMemoryLimit, since it always was around 80% of the server capacity. Scaled up to S2 doesn't help.

Now I think it has something to do with adding new tables and new calculation groups.

If I don't 'pre-process' the new tables in SSMS the refresh keeps on running, without any timeout or error. I have now tried this a few times on my Acceptence and Test environment. See also the screenshot of the memory usage during this process!

Anyone reported this or seen this before?
