Hi,

I am unable to see the Pivot Table Tools Ribbon on my excel 2016.  Can someone guide me on how do I have this enabled.  I am trying to insert a pivot chart from a table, but without the table am unable to create one.  Do let me know, if there is an alternate way to enable the pivot chart too.

Lastly, in the earlier versions of excel, there was a help option, but i dont see it in the current version.  How do I access this.  Thanks.

Thanks.

Regards

Clifford

Select the data range, or a single cell in it.

Activate the Insert tab of the ribbon, and click PivotTable - it's the first button from the left.

Specify where you want the pivot table to be created, then click OK.

When you click inside the new pivot table, you should see PivotTable Tools, with two tabs: Analyze and Design.

The PivotChart button is in the Tools group of the Analyze tab.

    Hi CliffordFernando1723,

I go through the post carefully, if you have insert a Pivot Table in Excel, click at Pivot Table area and you can see the tools in ribbon. As you can see in screenshot below:

For more information, you may check the article with a video: Create a PivotTable to analyze worksheet data

Additionally, as for the help button, please check the similar thread talking about the same issue with solution: office 365 helper.

If suggestion above doesn’t help, could you please share a screenshot on your Office version in File>Account page with us?

    Regards,

    Hi Clark,

Thanks for the response.  I guess, I was probably doing it the wrong way.  Thanks much though for providing the clarity and this helps much.

Going back to the help pages, i followed the instructions on the thread that you shared, but after i reach the privacy settings, where do you want me to go further to get the help page enabled.  Is there something that i missing?

    Thanks

    Rx

    Hi Clifford,

Thanks for the updates, I am so glad to hear the issue on Pivot Table is solved now. As for the issue on Help option in Office. As you can see in the article: Connected experiences that download online content, Office help is one of connected experiences that download online content that related to your privacy setting in tenant of your organization or in your Office client in **File>Options>General>Privacy setting.(**it may take some time to see the affect after you change the setting). So please make sure the connected experience is enabled in your privacy settings.

May I know which versions of Office you are using? You may check it from File>Account page in Excel.

    Regards,

    Clark
