Is it possible to Upgrade Internet Explorer 11's API to use the New Microsoft Edge API

Hi, I was wondering if there is any way to update the Internet Explorer API and use the chrome API on a Windows 7 x64 PC with legacy Hardware

Could you please provide an example which kind of IE API do you want to upgrade? And what function do you want to achieve? Your description is too vague for us to fully understand the issue.

Besides, there's no effortless way to directly upgrade IE API to Edge API. You need to change the whole code to convert to Edge API if the legacy program is made with IE API.
