I cant open my excel spreadsheet, it complains about invalid file format. I tried other

tools to repair but the same error pops up. I tried to use notepad it does open it but the information is unreadable. I tried Stellar repair tool to repair but wont work. I tried to change the file format to xlsx but it also doesn't work.

    IMPORTANT: Zip your original file!
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/zip-and-unzip-files-8d28fa72-f2f9-712f-67df-f80cf89fd4e5

Login to https://onedrive.live.com (Use the same Login ID and password as for this forum).
Click Upload in the top and choose your file.
After uploading, right click the file and choose Share.
Click Copy Link in the lower left edge (no need to enter an email).
Copy the link and paste it here.

I'll take a look if there is a chance to repair that file.

    Andreas.

    That does not work!

You need to ZIP your file, I need a 100% copy as download.

I don't see any possibility of restoring the file or the data.

Old XLS files have a kind of FAT in the file (similar to the File Allocation Table on your hard drive) which assigns and names the data blocks. It is damaged, I cannot repair it, sorry.

    Andreas.
