Can't access my @onmicrosoft user due to the authenticator app

I'm having trouble with signing into my new @onmicrosoft account that I got from an organisation.
When trying to log in I start by filling out my address and password as requested. But then it tells me to confirm my identity by approving a request on the Microsoft Authenticator app.

I have tried to download this app on my phone, but when I try to sign into this same @onmicrosoft account here, it tells me that this address does not exist. How do I access this account? Is it possible that an admin account has to send me a code from their Authenticator app or something?

Sorry, you're asking in the wrong place. The "Access" in the name of this forum refers to the database software "Microsoft Office Access", not to access to your account. Please contact the organization that provided your account.
