Excel data from web login issues

Hi there,

I'm trying out the "From Web" function in excel. I tried getting data from a website but did not select correct login options from the "Access Web content" dialog box. Now whenever I select "From Web" again and enter the same website, the "Access Web content" no longer shows up. How can I change the login credentials for this website? Excel must have saved my choices for this website somewhere.

    Hi Joshua,

Yes, Excel saves the site, so it is easier next time when we connect. If you want to remove the data source, please try the following method to clear permission in Excel:

    1. In Excel, click Data>Get Data>Data Source Settings, ensure Global permission radio button is selected, select the URL and click Clear permissions (if you want to clear all the sites at once, click arrow next to Clear permissions and choose **Clear all permissions).**Follow the steps shown in the screenshot below.
    2. Try connecting to the site again and check the result.

Thank you for the help. This solved my problem! Very tricky to find these Data Source Settings.

    Thanks again!
