This is an excellent question. Can we transcribe more than 300 minutes knowing it will not be saved but it will be transcribed? We can save to our local systems.

Thank you for bringing up this query here in Microsoft Community. Based on you post, you want to know what will happen if you exceed the 300 minutes of transcription time in Word on the web. Allow us to check this further and get this addressed.

Currently, there is a five hour limit per month for uploaded recordings and each uploaded recording is limited to 200 MB when transcribing in Word on the web. If you go beyond these limits, the exceeded recordings won't be saved. For more information about the Transcribe feature in Word, you can refer to this article.
