Powerpoint - text box settings

Hi

An in-house template automatically makes a text box with 44 pt white text. If I copy previously used slides with a text box in, these also have white text. (I use a white background, so white text is no use).

How can I alter the text box settings so that they start with smaller text, and black font.

Thanks

    Hi Stephen,

Thank you for posting your query in our community.

Based on your description, PowerPoint starts with 44 pt white text in a text box.

You can try to change the default font in PowerPoint and then save the setting by creating a PowerPoint template. Here are the detailed steps: Change the default font in PowerPoint

If the problem persist, could you please provide some information for me?

    1. The screenshot of your PowerPoint version(open PowerPoint > File > Account > capture a screenshot of the Product Information column)
    2. A screenshot of the problem.

    Best regards,

    Jazlyn
