Hi,

We are using IIS Server Windows server 2012 r2 with filezilla server
There are many websites hosted and application pools are there, and through filezilla ftp server we have created ftp accounts for users to manage their content

Problem we are facing is sometimes when users upload their files and tries to delete them it says file is in use. Files are .dll files,

Temporary solution we have found is we have to stop that particular site/application pool from IIS manager than user is able to delete and we start site after that.

But this is getting difficult day by day, what can be the issue?
I checked in ftp users full permissions are granted to ftpuser.

Please help on same

    Hi @Ankit Jain ,

I don't think it is an issue, I think it is by design. While your application is running in IIS, the files are locked and we can not update the files directly.

I think you can just stop the site as you mentioned in question and then update the files. Or you can also choose other methods for deployment.
