Greetings,
Sorry for the late response.
I am assuming you are working with a KRA file. May I know what error you are getting?

I am working with a workbook that had in built macros. Once the workbook is populated, i am required to click the 'validate' button. This button validates data entered and in turn generates a zip file for upload. I have no access to the macros, etc.
Thevproblem is, upon hitting validate button, it throws up error code 13! And therefore is unable to generate the zip file for upload.
How do i resolve this?
The same file, doesn't work or rather works in the same way on another computer.
I have a feeling it may be due to security settings when opening up in excel?
I'm using office 365 subscription.
I have not had such an issue before
I have contacted the preparer of the file but not had a response!

Hi!
I have moved one step ahead! Thank you
The workbook provided clearly states compatible to ...and excel 2010
So that means in office 365 this downloaded workbook won't work
This part resolved and macro works.
Now I have another problem:
I use csv file to upload one of the sheets .
Now this is throwing up errors in the excel 2010. What do i do so that I can import csv?

Hi, Thank you for the feedback.
Let do some checks and hopefully, we can get the error generator.
Let me know if this is a way forward.
Regards.
Hi!
I opened the file in excel 2010.
It still throws up the same error!

Hello Jambomingi
I am an independent advisor and Microsoft office user.
What you are talking about seems to be a compatibility issue with the macro-enabled file that you are using.
If I can relate, the source of the file should be providing versions of the template file and stating the versions of Microsoft Excel that it are compatible with what they have provided
If possible, you try to use where you have an installation of office 2010 or 2016 and let me know if it how it goes.
Kind regards.
