Hello,

We are trying to display the total number of Likes and Comments of Site Pages on the Site Pages Library. So we added the "Like count" and "Comment count" columns on the default view. The Like count displayed the total number of likes but the Comment count is not showing up.

Are there any solutions regarding this? Thank you!

Kind regards,

    Hi KVNJZR,

So sorry for this inconvenience caused to you.

To investigate this issue, I wade some tests on my SharePoint Page Library. However, I could not find the “Count Column” after clicking Add column>Show/hide columns in the “Edit view column” list. I don’t have the option “Count Column”. Like shown below:

So, I think the “Count Column” should be your custom column. And you may go to Settings>Library Settings>click the name of the Count Column to edit this column or check whether it is configured well

If your issue persists, may I confirm the following information?

    1. May I know if it is a calculated column?
    2. Are you using any JSON codes to format the column?
    3. How did you create the column? Could you please share more detailed steps?

    Best Regards,

    May

    Hello May,

Thank you for your quick response. To answer your questions:

    1. May I know if it is a calculated column? I'm not sure, these are two readily available Columns out of the box.
    2. Are you using any JSON codes to format the column? No.
    3. How did you create the column? Could you please share more detailed steps?

I added both columns (Like count & Comment count) by going through Site PagesLibrary Settings >ViewsEdit View.

    This is the result:
Like count displayed the total number of likes while Comment count did not appear at all.

Also, even though the "Comment count" was already added, it also not showing on the Edit view columns.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi KVNJZR,

Thank you for the reply and the detailed information.

I found I could repro this issue in my environment. So, I think this issue should be due to the SharePoint environment. Unfortunately, have limited information and access to further investigate this issue.

So, it’s recommended to contact the administrators in your organizations and open a support ticket in the Office 365 admin center via the steps in the articlefor further help.  The support team there has the correct escalation channel for this case. This is also the most efficient way in handling this kind of issue.

Thank you for your understanding and efforts.

    Best Regards,

    May
