Display Items Attachment in Browser - Sharepoint Lists

Hello everyone,

I’m new here in the Office 365 community.

I recently created an approval flow when an item is created in a Sharepoint List. 

All items must have an attachment document for revision.

I can’t find a way where the Approver revise all pending items from the list and click each attachment so he can check the document from a browser. 

I have seen some solutions from about 10 years ago, and only applies if adding a web part with a code (which is not possible in modern sharepoint view).

Actual Outcome of Items Attachments on a sharepoint list: Just a Clipboard Icon. Approver needs to actually go inside the item, click on the attachment and downlod the document(s) for revision.

Desired Outcome: Approver check Sharepoint List, go to Attachment Column, click link and the attachment is displayed from the browser. (No downloads involved).

Hi NewPowerUser_Latam,

I apologize for all the trouble it has caused and sorry about your time.

As per your description, generally in SharePoint online we select the item attachment icon that we want to open attachments, it will open directly in browser.

Note: Online editing is only applying for Office files attachment.

As a workaround is saving the attachment in a library and adding URL rather than attachment to the list. Or create a Hyperlink column in SharePoint online and paste a URL in that column to directly open in browser.
