According to your description, please go to Gmail for Web and search the verification code email again (also check Junk Email or Spam folder). Also, please check whether your Gmail account has redirected these messages to another account.

- What if you let the folder owner share it to another email, does the issue still exist?
- What if you let the owner share another file/folder with you, does the issue happen?
- Do other users have the same issue?
