MS Stream cannot be sorted by "default" view on SharePoint?

I have setup a MS Stream channel which I embedded on my SharePoint site.

Now, I'd like that this SharePoint site of mine would show the listed videos in the exact same order how they're listed on the MS Stream channel.

e.g.:

01 - Video
02 - Video

03 - Video
04 - Video
.
.

.

However, when I link my MS Stream's channel to SharePoint, it starts to show the videos in a random order (e.g. 04 - Video, 01 - Video, etc.) and it doesn't keep the original, default form from MS Streams.
It only offers 4 "Sort by" functions, which are (trending, publish date, views and likes). And unfortunately, I'd like to keep the default chronological order (1-10).

Is there a way I can manage that?
(I've only found a temporary solution where I list them by "Publish date" and upload 01 - Video as last, so then it goes to the top of the list).

Thanks and Br,

Mark

Hello Mark,

Per the description shared, I understand the scenario and tested the behavior at my end using Stream Web Part, where I can reproduce a similar behavior as you explained. So, as a workaround instead of using the Stream Web part, use the Embed web part and you can get the Embed Link of Stream Channel via Open the Stream Channel> More actions (three dots beside the channel name)> Share> Embed> Select the Published Date as a Sort By> Copy the link.

Now go back to the SharePoint Online site, edit the page and use the Embed web part. Using the Embed web part will display like below:

In addition, I request you add your suggestion via submitting the feedback in the SharePoint · Community (microsoft.com) about the Stream web part.

Appreciate your understanding and stay safe!!

Best Regards,

Chitrahaas
