Hello everyone,

I am tracking leave request of employee using list on sharepoint online. I need to export to excel all items created in this list. But when i click "export to excel" and save result as query.jpy, run it, it only shows 1 item, not all off items in that list. But it shows all items when i click export to csv. Please show me how to fix it? These are pics:

all items:

export to excel query.jpy:

undefined

export to csv:

Thank you so much.

    HI,

    After follow your suggestion,

I was able to make it work successfully.

The reason is as you said that is because of my account and my computer, so here what i did to get it work:

1/ Sign out office 365 account from all devices.

2/Do some basic clearing up local machine like deleting temporary files, clearing history, cache on browser.

Again, thank you for your fantastic support

    Hi Phung Huan,

Thank you for querying in this forum.

From your description, it seems that you have created a list in SharePoint, then you tried export the list to Excel file, you found it will only show one item when you clicked Export to Excel, however, it shows all items when you export to CSV.

May I know if my understanding is right? If so, we have also tested it on our side with SharePoint list, we clicked Export to Excel and Export to CSV file, and they all work fine, as shown below:

We cannot reproduce the same situation as yours, given this situation, we’d suggest you change another browser to check if the same problem will occur.

At the same time, to narrow down this issue, could you provide the information below?

    1. May I know if the other SharePoint lists have the same problem?
    2. May I know if the other colleagues have the same problem?
    3. May I know if the lists in the other SharePoint sites have the same problem?

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Best Regards,

    Sukie

    Hi Phung Huan,

We appreciate that you posted back and confirmed the scenario with us, we also appreciate that you spent your precious time doing those tests.

We have checked the description you provided, it seems that you can only use your account to export specific members’ items when clicking Export to Excel, however, the other colleagues can export to Excel without any problem. At the same time, when you tried another list in another site, you encountered an error message.

Given this situation, this issue may be related to your account or your local environment, since you mentioned this issue doesn’t occurs on the other colleagues’ side, we’d suggest you go to you colleague’s computer and sign in with your account, then you can check if the same problem will occur.

If the same problem still persists after trying in your colleague’s computer, this issue is related to you account, and may need to be checked from background. The best way to troubleshoot the issue is to report the issue to the related Team. So we suggest you contact the administrators in your organizations and open a support ticket in the Office 365 admin center via the steps in the article for further help. The support team there has the correct escalation channel for this case. This is also the most efficient way in handling this kind of issue.

If the same problem doesn’t occur, this issue may be just related to your local environment, please feel free to post back and let us know, and we will try our best to help you.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Best Regards,

    Sukie
