I've spent quite a few hours on this process and am surprised how I cannot find a clear guide on this whole thing called the Internet for how to do this correctly.

Our setup.

Single XenApp server with local profiles configured with roaming profiles and folder redirection.

I want to migrate about 40 local profiles to VHDX so that the user's existing Office data & Profile data goes to VHDX.

If I run the frx.exe copy-profile command and it successfully completes what is the next step?

If I configure the FSLogix GPO to delete the local profile if the user is in the FSLogix Include (for profiles) then it will delete the local profile at login and lose all the Office data won't it?

Or, will all the Office data that got copied into the VHDX be automatically moved out at first attachment in to the Office container?

Also, am I supposed to be able to mount the VHDX and browse it's contents. When I attempt to mount it I get a message saying it isn't initialized or formatted into a readable format, so how do I browse and review the contents without logging in as the user?

Grateful for any answers for this noob.

Okay, just answered my own second question:

frxcontext.exe --install-per-user to be able to mount the VHDX locally and browse it.

I see it does contain the .OST file. So, then if I delete the local profile and I login as the user then it will automatically move the .OST out into the OFDC container if I have it enabled.
