multiple sharepoint lists driven off the same unique column

Hi all,

I'm fairly new to Sharepoint and Lists. We have a unique Department Code for each one of our programs at our company. I want to take that unique list of program codes and drive multiple separate lists from it (rather than having one list with multiple Views set up). For example, I'd like the following Lists: a Program Directory with the location and contact data of each program, a list that shows the individuals assigned to each program for various business functions (i.e., Accounts Payable, HR, Payroll, etc), a list of facility information for each program. Each list would have different fields except for that same first column of unique program codes. I would want to keep all the lists in sync so that when a new dept# is added, changed, or removed, it is updated in all of the other lists. In the case of the addition of a new dept, I would want a new record to be added into each list and then it would be up to the manager of each one of those lists to populate the new empty fields associated with that new record. I would appreciate any advice on how to set this up and get started. Thanks!

Matt

    Hi Matthew George (mgeorge),

I go through the post carefully. based on the description, you may achieve this with Microsoft Power Automate. You may Check the Power Automate blog for more information: Update a secondary SharePoint list using Flow - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

You may need to modify the flow example given in the link, if you need assistance on this. I would suggest you post in Microsoft Power Automate Community - Power Platform Community where you can get dedicated help.

    Best Regards,

    Clark
